Sunday 18th January & Sunday 1st February time: 12 - 3pm venue: The Manor Rooms

Three years ago, I faced the unimaginable... a diagnosis of both leukaemia and lymphoma, followed by months of intensive treatment, whilst living at Castle Hill Hospital’s Queen Centre for Oncology.

During that time, I made a promise: If I survived, I would ‘Climb for Cancer’, and attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

In January 2026, I invite you to join me and my family in celebrating the fulfilment of that promise!

Thanks to your support, whether through donations, encouragement, or simply standing by us, I not only reached the summit of Africa’s highest peak, but also raised nearly £50,000 for The Teenage Cancer Trust and Castle Hill Hospital.

We’re hosting two special events to share my story - from diagnosis to remission, training to triumph. I’ll present my journey through stories and photos from the climb, paying tribute to the people and places that helped me get there.

• Drinks reception

• A Yorkshire grazing table featuring local meats and cheeses, and seasonal produce

• A chance for me to say thank you!

• The opportunity to connect with others who’ve been part of this incredible journey.

Your presence would mean the world to me.

Places are limited so please register your attendance via this ticket.

Huge thanks!

Freddie
