Hooting Owl East Yorkshire Gin 50cl 
 
Hooting Owl East Yorkshire Gin is a traditional London Dry Gin containing 23 botanicals which include:
Juniper, Coriander Seeds, Bitter Orange Peel, Grapefruit Peel, Kafir Lime Leaves, Angelica Root, Orris Root, Liquorice, Grains of Paradise, Dandelion Root, Burdock Root, Black Cardamom, Hawthorne Berries, Kelp, Lavender and Honey amongst others.
Inspired by the rugged coastline, the sea (Kelp) and the journey to the coast through the Yorkshire Wolds (David Hockney Hawthorne Blossom, Honey and Hawthorne Berries) these botanicals and the lovingly accurate way in which we distil our gins makes for a very smooth flavour packed "traveling" gin.
As in all true gins, the taste explosion starts with Juniper but just before that you get the "nose" of the coast, the juniper is then followed by the citrus notes of the bitter orange and grapefruit, the earthiness of the black cardamom all complimented by the sweetness of the honey, cassia bark and fruity hawthorn berries it then finishes with a very slight hint of violet which is created by the lavender.
Serve over ice, with one part gin and three parts of the tonic of your choosing, we use a plain quality tonic as at Hooting Owl, we believe that the flavour should come from the gin not the tonic. Garnish with a sea horse (only Joking), a sage leaf and a slice of orange or grapefruit, you could also use lime if you wish to keep the maritime theme.
